Miley Cyrus is stepping into a new chapter with Bass Persuades, the title track and lead single from her upcoming 10th studio album.
Released ahead of the album’s September 18 arrival, the song introduces a dance-focused sound shaped by bright synths and an ’80s-inspired pop feel. As part of the announcement, the singer presents the track as an invitation to leave the phone behind and reconnect with the energy of the dance floor.
A music video directed by Mert Alas expands on that idea, placing Miley at the center of a nightlife setting built around movement, performance, and physical connection.
The release also comes with a noticeable change in presentation. For this era, she is using the name Miley rather than Miley Cyrus, giving the project a more stripped-back identity.
Bass Persuades follows her 2025 album Something Beautiful and begins the rollout for her next full-length release. More music and live appearances are expected to support the new chapter as the album release approaches.
