Maroon 5's NYC Benefit Concert to Air Live on Fuse Tonight
Tuesday night, three days before their summer tour kicks off, Maroon 5 is warming up by doing a special show at New York City's Beacon Theater that will be broadcast by the Fuse cable channel. No tickets have been sold to Fuse Presents: Maroon 5 Live from the Beacon Theater -- instead, the seats were given to families affiliated with the Garden of Dreams Foundation, a charity that works to benefit kids in crisis in the New York-New Jersey-Connecticut area. The broadcast starts at 9:00 p.m. ET. Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine says, "It's gonna be amazing...[we're] doing it for a couple thousand fans, and it's a charity show, so that's an amazing thing. It's gonna be great...a nice way to start things out."
Maroon 5's tour gets underway Friday in Saratoga Springs, New York. This first leg will wrap September 1st, and the second leg will start October 6th.
